Oh Father, against your glory who can compare?

Oh Father of love, mercy and grace to share,

Would the stars shine without your light?

Without your truth would we know wrong from right?

Could I love if you had not loved me first?

Through your mercy you save even the worst,

Could I see if You had not given me eyes?

Would I even know you if you had not made me wise?

For you know everything about me,

My every fear, my every plea,

You know my every failure, every hidden sin,

Yet through your strength God, I can win,

It is through your mercy that I am free,

Free from the slavery of sin, free to be me,

And in all my wonder and awe,

Shall I praise and see your glory pour,

For nobody can compare to the glory of the Lord,

Who can say I am perfect, better than God?

For without God I would cease to exist,

I would cease to know the joy found in Christ,

So to you I shall dance and sing to no end,

Your beauty and majesty, none can comprehend,

For I am not perfect, when I gaze at your glory I do not compare,

It is only by your grace that in your eternal blessings I do share.
