Just then his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked, "What do you want?" or "Why are you talking with her?" John 4:27 NIV
In public men did not speak with women and the fact that it was a rabbi, and that He was speaking with a Samaritan woman very much surprised the disciples. By now though the disciples had developed some reverence for Christ, so the questions that were in their minds remained unasked.
When we have Christ speak to us, do we question Him, or reflect upon that which He says to us? Do we truly have reverence for our Lord? Let the Holy Spirit direct you in what the Lord speaks to you. You will be made to know that which He wishes you to know.
