There are many reasons one is hired,
And there are many causes for one to get fired;
But, there is one cause that is looked down upon among nations,
And that is being guilty of insubordination.
When you are hired, you are making an agreement
To follow through with your commitment
To do what is required of you
To help your employer accomplish what he’s trying to do.
There are certain types of behavior that he won’t tolerate;
For, it may encourage or create
Confusion and turmoil in the workplace;
And, if you do that, you may easily disappear without a trace.
Employers usually don’t tolerate theft by employees,
But it can sometimes be forgiven with ease.
Employers are against fighting among those they have hired,
But can usually resolve the matter without anyone being fired.
But, insubordination, just telling the supervisor what you will and will not do -
That will make employers easily say “Goodbye” to you.
God is not different in His rules and regulations;
For, He doesn’t tolerate insubordination.
God has hired you to work for Him, and Him alone,
And defying Him can cause you to lose retirement benefits, an eternal home.
You cannot tell God what you will and will not do
Because nothing you are working with belongs to you.
God is providing you with everything you have to fulfill His mission,
Not to bring to light your dream or vision.
If you choose to use what God has given you
To do only what you want to do,
He’ll take it away, and He may give it to someone else
Leaving you to provide for and make a way for yourself.
Employers don’t allow you to use their equipment for your own personal gain,
And God’s rules are just the same.
Whatever God gives you is for His purpose and His will,
And you are to use them to assure His purpose and will are fulfilled.
God has given you a life, tools and equipment to work with throughout each day,
But, if you aren’t using them for Him, you might as well throw them away
Because they are of no use to you;
For, you are not using them to fulfill God’s will in what you do.
I warn you not to be charged with insubordination
Because for you, meeting death will be a sad occasion;
For, Jesus will tell you to depart from Him because He doesn’t know you
Because you chose not to keep your commitment and follow through
To use what you have been given to assure God’s goal is met;
And, now your reward and wages are eternal death.
