I’m not ashamed to tell the world what I’ve been through
Because witnessing and testifying is what God wants me to do
To let the world know of His glory and His power;
Therefore, I will testify of His goodness at any moment, at any hour.
I’m not ashamed that I lost possession of many things along the way
Because God always shined through my darkness so I could have a brighter day.
I’m not ashamed of how I’ve been mistreated, betrayed and used;
I’m not even ashamed that I’ve been ridiculed, manipulated and misused;
For, God was there to fight every battle, every attack,
And He has always had my back.
I’m not ashamed of being humiliated before men;
For, I chose to hold on and found myself in victory in the end.
I’m not ashamed to bare the burdens in the heat of the day.
I’m not ashamed when I stumble and fall along the way.
I’m not ashamed of my trials, tribulations, pain, suffering and strife;
For, if I’m ashamed to own Christ now, He’ll be ashamed to own me at the end of this life.
Therefore, I will witness of all that God is and all that He has been;
For, if I own Him and testify of Him, He will welcome me home in the end.
