Even when things don’t seem to work out as I think they should,
I know and realize that God is still good.
Even when my burdens seem to be a bit more than I can bear,
And it seems that no one seems to care,
I don’t worry about being caught in a bind,
Because God is still good all of the time.
Even when it seems that everything I touch seems to fail,
And it feels like my life is a living hell
Because of all that I go through
And the many things Satan tries to do
To command a mighty attack
So that I may give up and turn back,
I wouldn’t turn back even if I could
Because I know that God is still good
When I’m right, and even when I’m wrong;
For, He has promised never to leave me alone.
God has done everything that He said that He would,
Which lets me know that God is still good.
