This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. John 3:19 NIV
I among other things think of Jesus as the “Light of Truth”. Knowing the truth is so important to making proper choices on decisions. Jesus reveals the Truth to all who listen. Who wishes us to know the Truth that is and always has been? He wants the Truth revealed to all that can only be found in and through Him. But sadly, many have chosen to not seek the Truth, to ignore it, and to flee from it. Why? Because their thoughts and actions are evil. They are centered on self and on worldly desires. We must share the Truth that more would turn to Christ.
Secondly I think of Christ as the “Eternal Light”. Christ has always been and always shall be. He had no beginning, nor shall He have an end. Thus, Christ, the Light is the Eternal Light. The Eternal Light leads those who are His to eternal life.
Jesus Christ is the only way. Make your way to Him!
