So, there is no middle ground to eternal destiny. Either one believes in Jesus Christ, following Him, and thus receiving eternal life, or if not choosing to believe in Christ will face eternal torment. No eternal sleep with lack of consciousness. Basically, it is that simple.
Many look to the here and now, attempting to enjoy everything to the maximum, not caring about others, but themselves. They seek to “find” their life, but only set them selves up for an eternity of terror. The one who loses his life for the will of God, on the other hand, finds eternal life. This is a paradox, but, it is sacred Truth. Hear that which the Lord speaks and act upon it accordingly!
