No one has ascended into heaven except the One who descended from heaven—the Son of Man. John 3:13 NIV

Many have trouble with this verse. What Christ wants us to understand here is that no one has ascended into heaven and returned to earth. Both Enoch and Elijah were taken up into heaven, but neither one returned to tell about Heaven. Although there have been people who have had NDE (near death experiences) and told about what they did see in heaven, their experiences barely touch the fullness of heaven. They will speak of certain things they saw but putting them into words that accurately detail what they saw have limitations. There is much about heaven that no one other than God knows, for His ways are not our ways nor are His thoughts our thoughts.

To speak about Heaven one would need to be intimately acquainted with heaven. Christ had been with God forever when He came to earth. Therefor He certainly is more than qualified to speak about Heaven.
