Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” John 3:3 NIV

Our Lord, knowing that this man who came to Him was seeking truth, decided to get right to the heart of the matter with sacred Truth. In the state that we are born into one cannot see the kingdom of God, during one’s lifetime or in eternity.

One must be changed from the inside out. One must have an approach to life that is contrary to that which this world teaches. If one focuses on themselves, they shall lose their life. Only He who sacrifices His life for that which is the will of God can see God’s kingdom. This truly is a paradox.

What is at the center of your heart and soul? Is it to meet desire for worldly items, or is it to love and serve the Lord in all that one does? One truly cannot serve two masters. Either one is intrigued by worldly desires or else chooses to serve the Lord. What will it be for you? I pray that you give your all to the Lord!
