But the temple he had spoken of was his body. After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken. John 2:21-22 NIV

Could it be that Psalm 16:10 came to the minds of the disciples when Jesus was raised from death? “because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay.” After Christ rose from the dead the eyes of His disciples were opened to many of the Old Testament scriptures concerning the Savior.

Do we notice today that by immersing ourselves in God’s Word do we only have our minds opened to the sacred truths which God wishes to reveal to His children? God’s Word is a treasure chest of sacred truths. Immerse yourself in God’s Word and your soul shall be immensely nourished.
