When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, “Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.” “How do you know me?” Nathanael asked. Jesus answered, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.” John 1:47-48 NIV

We make ourselves known to those who are close to us. Certain people we do not wish to have know us for whatever reason we choose. There is One though from whom we cannot hide. Jesus knows us better than we know ourselves. He was involved in our creation, and He knows our every thought. He desires to be our closest friend, our Savior and our Lord. Will we allow Him to do so, or will we reject His offer, living our lives for our own benefit? Without Christ we are like lost sheep without a shepherd. Allow Christ, through the indwelling Holy Spirit to mold you into a servant of the Good News. He wants you to work in the fields, assisting in the harvesting of souls. Accept Him, for He knows you well.
