The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14 NIV

Jesus, the Word, who has been forever, came to earth and took the form of man, that He would be like us in all ways, with the exception of sin. Through the virgin birth He entered this world as one like us. Think of it…God in the form of human flesh! We who belong to the Lord truly have seen His glory, even though we of this day have not seen Christ in the flesh. We know that all which is spoken of Him in the Bible is true. We know that Christ is full of truth, which we and all mankind desperately need to hear. The world is full of lies and deceit. Nowhere else can we look for the truth than from God. Jesus is also full of grace, and His grace has truly been showered down upon us!

Jesus gave up His residence in heaven for just over 30 years that He might reside with us, carrying out the plan of the heavenly Father. What a true blessing we have in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
