Through the Word of God, we are reminded “…there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.”

We live in an ever-changing world with one simple rule that pervades everything we touch. Everything goes from a state of order to disorder.
This is evident in the simple beauty displayed by a rose, and the decay that is sure to follow.
We look at our country and see that the rulers in authority sometimes making decisions that are morally and scripturally wrong. They take us yet further into a state of decay as a people…

Yet, God is constant. He never changes.

As it stands today, we live in a country where we are free to voice our opinions, raise our families and worship our God without fear of government reprisal.

We can own property, drive where we please and help our neighbor without the government’s approval, and, should we not condone the beliefs or stands of our leaders, we've been given the freedom to vote for someone with our values and our commitments.

With all that’s going on in the world and in our country, we sometimes forget how much God has blessed us. Be thankful. Be thankful. Be thankful.

This month is when we celebrate Thanksgiving. As you are blessed, remember to give thanks to the God who made it all possible.
