He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. John 1:10 NIV
The first words of this verse I believe speak of the incarnated Christ. Following that are words which speak of His pre-existence to the world’s creation.
The human being is the highest of all creation, given a mind by the Creator to decipher that which it encounters. It is amazing given this fact that the world did not recognized it’s Creator, incarnate, in its very midst. This just shows man’s determination to ignore that which it chooses to ignore. There is no truth higher than that of Jesus Christ coming to earth and dwelling with us as a man. If we choose to ignore this fact, we are lost. If we do not recognize it before we leave this world, then we are lost forever. Accept the Lord. He is the true Light!
