God’s Good News For All…
Often many who work hold high-status positions in their job places look down upon others and especially if it is for common occupation – for examples shepherds/fishermen etc.
Yet the King of Kings has a different style, for He often sends His messengers with His blessed news to the open fields, the angels fly past those big palaces and rich estates where the rich and the opulent possess, however they are not chosen to hear this good news.
“Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:8-11 (NKJV)
God cares for all and especially for them who though they are innocent have still been out casted or rejected by others. It is not the nature of God to side with the mockers and the scoffers and belittle or discourage anyone, for His ultimate aim is the welfare and progress of all.
I’m not sure if those shepherds would have ever met any of their earthly Kings who ever ruled over them, yet as they were keeping watch over their flocks by night, they heard the good news through an angel who was sent from their heavenly King.
God is not a respecter of persons and is not biased at any time. The All-powerful in All-able at all times to do what He wills and which is the best and perfect way at all times.
If the lights of the earthly palaces do not light for you do not be discouraged, for the light of lights and the King of glory will shine His great and awesome brightness to enlighten your blessed soul.
God was, is and will be the same always.
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”
James 1:17 (NKJV)
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV)
