I’m thankful for each breath I breathe
I’m thankful that my spirit’s free
I’m thankful for the songs You bring
I’m thankful for my blessings

I’m thankful for the Gift you brought
I’m thankful that my soul you sought
I’m thankful for the battles fought
I’m thankful for my blessings

I’m thankful that the victory’s won
I’m thankful that You gave Your son
I’m thankful that You soon will come
I’m thankful for my blessings

I’m thankful that we’ll one day reign
I’m thankful that I’m not the same
I’m thankful that You took my blame
I’m thankful for my blessings

I’m thankful for my family’s love
I’m thankful to You God above
I’m thankful for peace like a dove
I’m thankful for my blessings
