His Precious Ones

“They who lose their life for Him,

Shall not lose by Him in the end”

Well said Mathew Henry in his commentary

A life worthwhile for the Word spent

Blessed are ye when ye are persecuted,

Even when you stand for truthful errands

While His eye is even on the little sparrow

Your pain for sure He understands

Be strong dear Friend and be ever rejoicing,

For your King covers you with His love

When for His sake you are ridiculed

His sends His peace and grace from above

Rejoice in this that He keeps your heart,

And your soul is ever safe in His care

Even when this mortal body wears away

And the painful offends you bear

Swiftly you shall pass to the immortal state,

Where pain and sorrow shall no longer batter,

Yet until such time hold on to the truth,

For your precious soul for Him does matter.
