Fortress

There's no need for city walls and watch towers
If you know the one who makes rain and snow showers
For He's above all and sees everything before you
The I Am has done, still does, and will do
As His will pleases, for it is good, pleasing, and perfect
And when you kneel before the cross you are not a reject
He has purchased you at a price, through the blood of Jesus
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit calling out “Come to us!”
Three in one bought all on the cross of the Son
Through the crushed man with pierced hands victory was won
And now the only stronghold you need can be found at His feet
Because the Lord lives and Death's sting has been beat
All the refuge you need still awaits at the cross
A high and mighty tower, a fortress for the lost
