Hold on to your dreams
and let nothing pull you back
Though there be obstacles in your way
to make you get off track
The future stands before you
it's within your very reach
But it's nothing that comes easy
all of this our God did teach
But just think about the joy it brings
with every step you take
To bring the things we want so much
although it took suffering to make
The hope we have it's very real
for in our hearts we believe
That God has given his power from above
so our doubts we can relieve
There may be a price we have to pay
but won't it be worth it all
To see our dreams come to pass
so we must continue to stand tall
We behold the good with promise's
for our God to us, wish the best
So we learn to accept the challenges
for many are only a test
So life itself is paved with toil
But we must venture to see it through
For nothing's gained if not given with woes
and still lies up to me and you
