There are times when my feet ache from walking
Sometimes, my head pounds incessantly
As I step by step move ahead on life’s journey
I have severally been disheartened and depressed
From the hilarious laughter of the enemy
As I fall on life’s track due to my mistakes
He rains discouragements and discomfort on me
While offering me the destroying alternatives

But God’s grace has not been entirely absent
Even though I have many times, frustrated this great grace
Yet, he has stayed by his promises, he has never given up on me
His commitment to me has fully persuaded me
That even if the devil increase his terror and intimidations
And while in my bid to reach my goal I fall now and then
Nevertheless, I know there is someone I can always lean on
This has assured me that come what may, I will get there!

I will get to that place of destiny and purpose
Where my heart pants and longs for
A place where joy flows like a fountain
Where dreams come true, a place of fulfillment
I will climb the steep slopes that marks these roads
And while that mount, I will look back in victory
With thanksgiving in my heart I will offer a sacrifice of praise
To the one who against all odds took me there!
