Now people were bringing the little children to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them, and the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But When Jesus saw this, He was indignant and told them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” And He took the children in His arms, placed His hands on them, and blessed them. Mark 10:13-14 and 16 NIV

I want to be a child. Why would I not want to do so? Jesus takes children in His arms. Would you not like Jesus to wrap His arms around you? Jesus put His hands on the children. Would you not like the hands of God’s only Son to touch you? Jesus blessed the children. And, would you not wish to be blessed by Jesus? And Jesus said the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I bet you wish the kingdom of God belongs to you! So, absolutely, I want to be a child, a child of God. I want to turn my troubles over to Him, knowing that I can depend on Him for everything I need. Be a child, a child of God.
