Popcorn Prayer

Popcorn prayer is a little like a popcorn testimony which pops up and turns white, because popcorn prayer may be a way of understanding the Bible's exhortation to us to pray without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5, v.17) Though it hardly seems humanly possible to pray all of the time, it does seem possible to offer spontaneous prayers continually or consistently as we position ourselves Godward in a receptive mode and remain there before our God and Father, and the Holy Spirit then brings different persons and diverse situations to mind over the course of a day. If we aren't surprised at some point during the day at whom or what we happen to be praying for or by the way we are praying for that one or that situation, then we may not be  being led by the Spirit of God.
If every believer were in the habit of doing this and living this way and in this kind of consciousness, it is hard to imagine how much ground could be covered and what immense good could be accomplished every day in prayer.  No popcorn popper on earth would be big enought to contain it!
