Those tending the pigs ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happened. When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons, sitting there, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid. Those who had seen it told the people what had happened to the demon-possessed man—and told about the pigs as well. Then the people began to plead with Jesus to leave their region. Mark 5:14-17 NIV

It is amazing to me that many people turn down that which is offered to them by Jesus Christ. Their minds have been closed to the only real truth which exists. The evil one is in control of them, as these multitudes go about living their lives, not realizing the eternal destruction which awaits them. Some just ignore or walk away from any discussions which center around Christ. It is so sad that blinders cover their eyes, hearts, minds and souls. Some are so stuck on me, that they cannot think beyond themselves. They store up earthly treasures, treasures which shall not accompany them from this world. Please do not beg that the Lord leave you. Whether or not you realize it, you need the Lord so very much in your life. Yes, there is a price to following the Lord, but, consider the price that He paid for your redemption. Live your life for Christ!
