If God is for us who can be against?
Me, becomes the only answer I sense.
If I am with God, the devil can tempt,
Even Christ Jesus wasn't exempt!
We think of the days He spent in the desert,
Really Gethsemane was satan's concert.
"Thy will be done" My Lord said, while blood He sweat,
That's when our path for forgiveness was set.
Jesus was a mere human like me,
Yet through obedience, set us all free.
Everyone who comes to Him and believes,
There's another part to this, I perceive.
Resisting the devil and all his ways,
How can I do that? By giving God praise.
When my mind is on worship I don't stray,
It is my choice! Do I pray or betray?
