I am another writer, poetry within my scroll,
Pens are just safer than guns, for the frustrations of the soul.
God has taught me, to ręlease emotions through the written word,
My Lord gave me permission, allowing my song to be heard.
What trust, did my Maker put in me, when He gave me my art?
Why would I be surprised, He'd already given me His heart?
Every single feeling I possess, was a gift from Him!
He must of wanted me to feel! I question when life is grim.
This year has brought me so much hurt, both physical and mental,
If I'd of trusted Him throughout, this pain would seem
more gentle.
Longed to understand so much, that I didn't see His rope,
There's no need to drown in darkness, His rope is a rope of hope.

Here in the USA guns kill as many people as cars do! The freedom to bear arms comes before human rights, I feel. The spoken or written word can just as, if not more effective in my opinion. That is why I am amazed that God has given me this ability! I don't deserve it, but He gave me the gift regardless. I wrote this, in a year I was separated from my husband Javier due to immigration disputes. I'd also managed to break my ankle while in vhf hospital (- osteoporosis) thus spending 10 weeks in hospital. I was far from a happy camper at this stage in my walk with the Lord.
"You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you."
