Blood Runs Red

Even as blood runs red regardless of race,

so tears flow the same salt irrespective of the criers’ color,

so does sweat for that matter care less about the shade

of the brow whence it drips.

People get hurt and bleed. People feel grief and weep.

People toil and perspire, the same in any

and every language under the sun.

Blood, tears and sweat are all color blind.
