In the last article I wrote, I compared Ahab and Jezebel to the Democratic Party in the sense that thry tried to replace godliness with ungodliness. They tried to make all of Israel stop worshipping the Lord, the One True God, and worship pagan, false gods. Democrats try to replace godliness with ungodliness by trying to keep the Bible and Nativity scenes out of public places and promote everything the Bible says is wrong, whether it's abortion or gay marriage or the LGBTQ stuff. Like Democrats, Ahab and Jezebel felt they were entitled to anything and everything, and they resorted to intimidation, even murder, because of their sense of entitlement. Let's look at Jezebel's reaction to Elijah proving the Lord is God. 1 Kings 18 records when Elijah proved the Lord is God and led israeI back to God. 1 Kings 19 records Jezebel's reaction. She was very angry. She blamed Elijah for why she got shellacked and threatened his life, but God protected and sustained him. Later, when Naboth refused to sell Ahab his vineyard in 1 Kings 21, Jezebel arranged for Naboth to be killed before inviting her husband to take possession of the land. Now, not all liberals are violent, but there are liberals who have gone crazy and been violent toward conservatives and rioted and set fires when President Donald Trump won tbe election in 2016. All this was simply because they didn't get their way--Hillary lost. Liberals also resort to intimidation in verbal ways by callinh conservatives names--racists, morons, xenophobic, homophobic, you name it. Hillary says we belong in a basket of deplorables. Hillary and Bill also kill people who stand in their way. When Hillary blamed any of her people for why she lost the election and when someone was either about to blow the whistle or had blown the whistle on the Clintons, they ended up dead or missing. Oh, sure, the Clintons said they were accidents and suicides, but these "accidents" and "suicides" happened over 40 times! Democratic leaders like Ahab and Jezebel, also tend to believe they have the right to control what citizens do with their property. For instance, former president Barack Obama used some of the taxpayers' money to fund the baby-killing Planned Parenthood. He didn't care if any of those taxpayers were Christians. He believed he was entitled to force his agenda. Democrats tend to believe this. 1 Kings 22 and 2 Kings 9 record Ahab and Jezebel paying for their crimes. We need not lose heart. God deals with the ungodly. Just like He called Elijah to take a stand, He calls us to take a stand. He used Elijah to make a difference. Who's to say He won't use us to make a difference? I live in California, where the laws are horribly liberal, and I don't give up on the state or the country God has blessed me to live in.
