Scriptural references:
Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Cor 1:13).
But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come on you: and you shall be witnesses to me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8)
(Other references: 1 Cor. 15:10; Acts 14:3; 2 Peter 3:18; 1 Peter 2:2; Jeremiah 29:13; Psalm 24:3-4)
Word of the Lord:
Have you ever pondered on what "Grace be to you" in 1 Corinthians 1:13 actually means? I think most people just read it and assume it's just a greeting of some sort. Well. It is far more powerful than that. Apostle Paul said, "I am what I am by the grace of God" (1 Corinthians 15:10). Acts 14:3 says that God's Word is the word of His grace. Then Acts 20:32, says that the word of grace is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. Beloved, that is far too powerful to just be a mere greeting in a letter! Most believers think grace is something vague with no real definition, other than maybe God's favor or unmerited [undeserved] favor. Grace is more than that. Apostle Peter admonished Christians to grow in grace (2 Peter 3:18). No one can grow in the grace of the Lord without spending time in His word (1 Peter 2:2). You got to seek the Lord with all your heart if you want to be full of it (Jeremiah 29:13. Grace is powerful. It is God's willingness to enter into covenant with you, authorizing you to live in Him; giving you the privilege of having him live in you, and living out His life through you. You can read that over and over until you get an understanding of it. Grace is a powerful force that you need to do the things God has called you to do. So dig into the word and seek the Lord with all your heart. Let grace become a revelation to you. Let it become far more than just a mere greeting in a letter or a mere confession you say at the end of every church service. I pray GOD will open your eyes. I pray He will reveal his grace to you and fill you with it in Jesus name (Amen).
You need the anointing of God. There are some things you can't do on your own. You need the help of God. The anointing is the power of God or the divine enablement that helps you do the assignment God has given to you. The early Disciples of Christ in Acts 1 and 2 had to wait on God for the anointing before they launched their ministry. They waited for the anointing and the anointing sure did fall on them. They became bold and preached the gospel without fear. The anointing would definitely help you. It would help you fulfill your calling. Business men and women also need the anointing. Students also need the anointing. Professionals also need the anointing. Irrespective of what you do, you need the anointing. It will distinguish you in your career and make you stand out among your peers. Thirst for it. Ask and seek God for more of his anointing and he would surely fill you with his wisdom and his ever powerful yoke destroying, burden removing power.
You need the shekinah glory of God. The glory is the tangible presence of God. You need his presence every day. Always desire to be in God's presence. You can secure his presence by maintaining a pure lifestyle and an atmosphere of praise and thanksgiving. Purity attracts God (Psalm 24:3-4). And God dwells in the praises of his people (Psalm 22:3). So endeavor to live a sanctified life and praiseful lifestyle at all times, always giving thanks and praises to God. Avoid complaining and murmuring. Rather rejoice and celebrate God and He would surely be with you. The world is so wicked and full of darkness. You need God's covering every day and every hour. You really need his presence. Attract his presence, cultivate it and maintain it while maintaining your relationship with God. I see God changing and transforming your life. It shall be well with you and yours in Jesus name (Amen).
Prayer:
Father GOD, I thank you for your grace, power and glory. I ask for a deeper experience and revelation of your grace. I also ask for an increase in your anointing and glory. Release your power and shekinah glory on me. I pray with thanksgiving in Jesus name.
