It is written in the Bible
We each have an appointed time.
But that is just a fact of life,
And should not burden your mind.

Remember that God is a loving God
And he welcomes all to his gates.
For all who trust and believe in him
With arms wide open, God waits.

The Bible says that trumpets will play
And the heavens will be bright with the light.
Oh, what a wonderful and glorious day
To have God’s holy face in sight.

Then one day at a moments notice
God will summon us to his throne
That will be a prelude to eternal life
You’ll know you’re finally arrived home.

We can only imagine how one would feel
Living with God from now and forever
Living in the comfort of God’s loving care
It must be the best feeling ever.

So lift your hearts and give God praise
As he welcomes the soul of our brother
He’ll be safe in the comfort of God’s arms
As we pray and comfort each other.
