I’m going to be in church on Sunday
I thought maybe you’d like to come along
I’m sure that you would enjoy the service
Praising the Lord in word and song.

Just think how hard you worked this week
Under pressure that stressed your mind
Come with me and relieve the tension
Leaving the grief and troubles behind.

The time you spend with God in church
Could be a chance to open your eyes
You’ll hear the reading of the Holy Word
The Word is truth you’ll hear no lies.

You’ll learn the teachings of Jesus Christ
And the meaning of the life he gave
You’ll know why all your sins are forgiven
Your life is one he was sent to save.

At times I’ve seen your painful tears
You appeared to be looking for help
Come and see what worked for me
Because I know just how you felt.

If you should have a troubled heart
And you’re living a life in despair
Come and God’s love will set you free
Come walk with me in prayer.
