The Perishable Cannot Inherit the Imperishable

I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 1 Corinthians 15:50 and 53 NIV

How is it that the perishable can inherit that which is imperishable? It cannot. That would be like evil inheriting good. It won’t happen. Just as the old self must change in order that the individual be reborn to a new, spirit filled life, so that which is mortal must be changed in order to be that which is immortal. That which is perishable must be changed into that which shall not perish. This shall be accomplished through God. This is no problem for Him to accomplish. The human flesh and blood shall perish. They therefor cannot inherit God’s kingdom. But the spirit, that which comes alive with a rebirth to Jesus Christ is that which is meant to inherit the kingdom. Don’t worry yourself with what your spiritual body will look like. Much must be left by faith to God. Do not be concerned. His eternal plan for you is perfect.
