Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. John 14:6 NAS
In the Bible, there is a difference between knowing about and knowing the truth. Even the demons know about the truth and shudder. Knowing the truth in context is when we believe, trust in and place our faith in what God has promised is the truth.
“He who was delivered over because of our transgressions, and was raised because of our justification.” Romans 4:12 NAS
When we believe this truth: We love, because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19 NAS
When we love the truth, we are known by God.
If anyone loves God, he is known by Him. 1 Cor 3 NAS
The knowledge that God loves us more than we can ever imagine, think or believe sets us free from fear. There is absolutely no condemnation and nothing to fear for those who are in Christ. He will never leave, forsake, or say depart from me I never knew you.
Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in (His) love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. We love, because He first loved us. 1 John 4:15-19 NAS (emphasis mine)
The truth has set us free in more ways than one.
You will know (love) the truth (Jesus) and the truth (Jesus) will set you free. John 8:32 NAS (emphasis mine)
Do you believe God’s promises and love the truth? Do you love Jesus?

And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood. Luke 22:20
