And He rose Again For Me To See

 

Let me do what’s expected of me,

Let me be what I’m required to be,

By all that I do and all that I am,

Let the world only see Christ in me

 

Every day and every moment that passes by,

Let me more to my Savior draw nigh,

Leaning on Him and trusting Him always,

Let me expend all of my days

 

He has a will for me-a perfect will,

And in His presence I will stand still,

And witness the salvation that He will bring,

Then rejoicing I will forever sing

 

My glory and the Lifter of my head,

He died for my stead

On the Cross for me He bled,

And died so the judgement I may not dread

 

And He rose again for me to see,

So I may do what’s expected of me

And be what He requires me to be

So that by all that I do and all that I am

The world will only see Christ in me

Beautiful poem/prayer. I found the second line of the second stanza to be awkward. Keep writing!
