An Escape From Temptation

So the one who thinks he is standing firm should be careful not to fall. No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide an escape, so that you can stand up under it. 1 Corinthians 10:12-13 NIV

We must not get cocky and believe that we are not susceptible to falling into sin. Sin is very prevalent in this world, and the evil one goes about seeking to devour us into committing sin, which displeases God. Yet we must be aware that God knows that temptation exists. God will not allow us to face a temptation that we cannot overcome. He wishes our faith to grow. God provides an escape for any temptation we face. We must seek from Him that which is our escape. See your faith grow by dealing with temptation when it comes your way. God is faithful and will provide a way to escape the temptation, if only you will seek it.
