Tackle with love, meaning tackle with the Lord,
I cannot combat without You, You who are awed.
Anything, regardless of the obstacle,
If I'm with You, all things become possible.
My God. The God of the supernatural,
Only in Jesus name, are we masterful.
But we've got to confess all our wrong doings,
We can't get into Heaven without our choosing.
Choosing to do right, no matter the consequence,
Because of only this, I have confidence.
Authority to say, I'm a child of my Lords,
And all my Gods angels, in Heaven applaud.
Obedience and love are His only desires,
Endured the cross, so we might be free from hells fires
This is my God, who stepped out on the sea, for me,
His mere request, is that I bear fruit as His tree.

This poem was written after hearing an interview with Steve Curtis Chapman over the death of his daughter. One of his sons had backed up over the little girl. Realizing what he had done, the boy ran. His brother chased him, jumped on him bringing him to the ground - not because of what he'd done but out of love. The phase "tackled with love" wouldn't leave me until I'd written the poem.
"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins."
