My God is surely never blind

It’s often tough to wait and find,

That God is not all blind,

To the struggles of our life,

To our pain and everyday strife

Often by faith we mount on Moriah,

To offer all we have to give,

With a heavy heart yet in perfect obedience

Praying, ‘Lord for my disbelief please forgive’

I am prepared to lose my all,

All just at His one command

Yet my mind struggles with my heart,

Why God made such a demand?

The altar is ready and so is the offering,

Does God not see my heart that’s suffering?

Now when I finally chose to obey,

I hear Him loud, ‘Hold on I say!’

Look behind in the thicket and see,

‘A ram is caught by the horns for thee’

Offer it instead of the offering you brought,

Again a lesson of His goodness I was taught

Jehovah Jireh, My Lord will provide,

With unwavering faith with Him I shall ever abide,

When I was climbing the mount with a burdened heart,

Provision from the other end He did already start

Never ever shall I doubt Thy will O my King,

For the end of it is always for my good

Trusting in Thee forever I shall live,

You shall surely provide my daily food

For now I know that even though it’s tough

Yet for sure this I’ll find,

To the strife’s and struggles of our life

My God is surely never blind.
