Surely you know the time that is right

Why I do not see the waves of prosperity?

Why are You delayed O Lord to help me?

When the men of the world whom I see around

Lost in their sin and with vices abound

Receive their exaltation which they seek

Why have to wait the humble and the meek?

Surely you know the time that is right,

Lord You have never delayed Your might,

Your saints will ever be praising Thee

Awesome are Your ways ever I see

Now I feel burdened as I’ve not been blessed,

Hurtful words Lord takes away my rest

Send Thy peace to me I pray,

With hope before Thee Lord let me stay

I know Your blessedness for me will come

Joyful this sorrowful heart will become

You are preparing me for this,

Your timely provisions I will not miss

But for now O Lord give me the grace

Let hope reign over my disgrace

Prepare me Lord now to receive,

The goodness which Thou hast perceived.
