One of you will say to me: “Then why does God still blame us? For who is able to resist his will?” But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’ ” Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use? Romans 9:19-21 NIV
God gives to each human free will. God will not force His ways upon anyone. God knows the heart of each person. God did create each of us in His image. We were not created to be evil, but, by human nature we are full of sin. Some will choose to live and die in their sin. But others will seek God, knowing that they need Him and the redemption offered through His Son. God chooses those to whom He will show mercy. As the creator, the potter, it is His right. The one who is humble and meek, knowing that there is nothing good within them of there own shall come to the Lord. God truly can read the heart of all. He knows if the desire to seek Him is true or not. God has chosen you to be His adopted child. He waits for you to come to Him, ready to repent and live a life like that of His Son. You have been chosen not to be for common use, but to carry out the advancement of the kingdom. Be God’s vessel.
