And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 NIV

Here we have one of the most known and quoted scripture verses of the writings of Paul. It is truly reassuring that we as Christians know that God truly in all things does work for the good of those who have been called to His purpose. This does not mean everything will work the way we plan or think it should. This is because God can see that which we cannot see. That which we think is good may be the exact opposite of that which we truly need. So, who are we going to trust, God or ourselves? How foolish are those who trust in themselves. We know not that which lurks around the next corner. But God knows what is around that corner. He knows that which we need to do that His will be accomplished. Whose will do we wish accomplished, God’s or ours? Do not be selfish and self-centered. Give your life totally to the care of God, and all things will work out to be the best!
