John 7:38 - “Whoever believes in me…out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

This promise that God’s spirit will flow out of the believer in order to build His kingdom, often in ways that will never even be known, ought to give great satisfaction to the Christian writer. After all, what could eclipse the idea that God will use you to move someone else into a closer relationship with Him? So, keep writing and sharing what God has placed on your heart. Rest assured there is someone out there that needs to hear just what you have to say. God bless.

Rivers of Living Water

It's not what is gained but what He pours through you

It's not about YOU but how He can use you

When you receive it let it go don't hold it for yourself

Let the living water flow that many will be refreshed

In faraway tributaries the water breaths life

In places that you could never reside

You are the center through which Jesus flows

Irrepressible life, enriching souls

Put away your sin your fear and your doubt

So the rivers of living water can flow out

Not a blessing passed on or an experience stated

But a continual flow, unabated

Overcoming all barriers, the river is persistent

Victoriously it moves against whatever resists it

Overtaking any obstacle it finds in its path

Just keep your eye on the Source and off of what distracts

If your belief in Jesus is steadfast and true

His river of life will flow through you
