INFLUENCE

Testimonies have always had a powerful impact on my life.
It helped me as a young christian to make the right decisions, and overcome the pressures of society in my generation.

I recalled many years ago, in my youth when I was struggling with fears, and spiritual darkness. I knew God was with me, but He was silent, and it was hard to bear His silence. I felt lonely, especially on Saturday nights when most young people were partying or at the movies.

During that season, I discovered that the Full Gospel Church in my vicinity held Saturday night service, and that was so wonderful!

I would go and sit at the back, and bath in the atmosphere of praise and worship. The testimonies reminded me that God was still on the throne, and He will remember His own. So I kept on believing, in spite of my feelings. One of the scriptures that encouraged me was Lamentation 3:27, It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.

I know about the challenges our youth is facing to make the right decisions, and to unfold as men and women of God in this generation. It's not easy, but God has made a way for you to overcome. He is that way!

Your testimonies will encourage each other to meet the challenges, and to overcome the pressures of this Age.

The Word of God is true, it will stand anytime, any place, under any condition.

He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Since by faith I saw the stream
Thy flowing wounds supply
Redeeming love has been my theme
and shall be till I die
I love you Lord!
