DEAR MOM

I'm on my way home, dear Mom
I'm almost there.
The journey is long, and I often stumbled.
I recall the time I left home,
DEAR MOM

The journey to sin was short.
I felt so happy and free, to do my own thing.

The path of sin is rough dear Mom
as I often heard you said.
No love is there this side of the fence,
I long for home dear mom,
where love is wonderfully true.

I felt the pull to return, dear Mom
I know it was from above
that God is so mindful of me to come back to His fold

I thank you for being there, dear Mom
I thank you for your prayers
if it were not for the tears you’ve shed for me,
my life would be a mess.

So, look out for me dear Mom.
I'll be home soon.
Be patient and brave when I get there
To help me make it through.
