TO EAT IT ALL

The sun is up
And I would sup
Of all You bring my way.

Both large and small
I’ll eat them all
Just, please, don’t turn away.

So fast the years
Too many tears
Have brought me to this day.

My heart does cry
And wonders why
It had to be this way.

But through it all
Your voice would call
“I’m here with you to stay!”

So I will bow
No matter how
And seek You as I pray.

What’s on Day’s shore
Be less, or more
I will not turn away.

For You do call
To eat it all
And in Your arms to lay.
