1 Corinthians 15

³¹ I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

³² If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.

³³ Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

³⁴ Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Like Paul of Tarsus the Apostle,

Each day is a challenge of my faith

Walking the walk and talking the talk

Learning to be more like my Lord,

I die daily

The master Potter plucks out of this lump

Each passing day, a large piece;

Working towards His proposed masterpiece

Ouch…! That hurt!

I die daily

This sculptor shaves off wood pieces

In order to get the perfect shape

His tools are sharp and precise

Digging into every crevice to achieve a divine aim

I die daily

Mercy Lord, this road is not easy

To walk on the straight and narrow

Living in this world and not being part of it

But thine will Lord and not mine,
I die daily
