Sometimes in worship
there comes a time
A sacred time
A filet mignon moment
Tender and tactile
It’s a Habbakuk 2:20 time
When eternity sweeps
out all traces of time
and the best thing to do
is to be still
in order to savor
His therapeutic touch -
soothing yet invigorating
No words will suffice
No other thoughts can enter in
Because you have entered
The Holy of Holies
The fixation is overpowering
Let Him light your fire
Let him give you that buzz
that you thought the World
could give you
but you finally found
what you were looking for
in the passion
of His eyes.
