I will admit it that I watched a clip of the royal wedding and cried. There were many reasons. The first was that Meghan was dressed modestly and beautifully - just how the Bride of Christ would show up. She wasn’t a cleavage queen like so many and yet she looked, “Amazing!” as Prince Harry said.

As she walked into the cathedral and down the aisle, it seemed like there were three thresholds. The first room felt like the outer court. The next room, which had flags in it, felt like the inner court. Then the bride crossed the line and met up with the groom. This symbolized the Holy of Holies. That’s where the veil was removed.

Some people don’t like opera. Sometimes opera can just be a beautiful voice with no emotion. But that music was so sweet and captivating that it touched my heart-strings. It wasn’t just music, it had deep pools of feeling moving in it. I always like hearing songs in other languages where I don’t know the words. Then I can feel the emotion and the power.

Back to the flags…In the tabernacle, the flags are outside. The twelve tribes have their prophetic destiny on those flags. Those are the words that Israel spoke over his kids. They are like a visual prophetic words. I’m not sure what all those crests are abou,t but they remind me of how a banner can cause the enemy to flee. When you wave or lift up a flag or banner then you can shift the atmosphere. The banners were in the room just before the bride connects with the groom.

My favorite princess is not a Disney princess. It is Victoria, crowned princess of Sweden. Her story is much more fascinating. I saw photos of her when she was young. She was like your typical insecure young woman trying to make sense of how to maneuver with her sexuality. She went through a ‘sexy’ period. It’s a tell-tale sign that a woman is not yet comfortable in her own skin. That doesn't happen until she goes through a "beautiful' phase. 

The thing I like about Victoria is that you could see her confidence grow throughout the years. It’s an internal job that is reflected outward. Her husband was her personal trainer before they were married. THAT is romance to me. He was part of bringing her beauty out. He was a huge part of her transformation. That reminds me of Christ.

Please don't send me a comment about the connection that most royals have to high and dark powers. I am aware of those things. I am focusing on the symbolism that is reflected through their lives.

Back to Victoria. She always wears tasteful clothes. She never looks frumpy or like a shell of a person. I realize that her sister picks out her wardrobe, because she really doesn’t have a clue about those kinds of things. But typically, you see HER more than you see her clothes. You can’t say that about all of the royals. 

This brings me to Harry. Harry played the role of a playboy for quite a while. Yet with Meghan his sensitive side came out. You could tell that he was truly in love. The New Living Translation of the Bible says it well in Proverbs 3:18-19: There are three things that amaze me--no, four things that I don't understand: how an eagle glides through the sky, how a snake slithers on a rock, how a ship navigates the ocean, how a man loves a woman.

Back to Meghan. She was the one who brought out Harry’s gentle side. And it was quite a remarkable shift. Many men want to appear all tough and in charge. But Harry let down that typical male guard and that says to me that he just really didn’t care that his heart was out there before the world’s stage. He must’ve felt secure enough in her love to quit the tough guy posturing.

When we are born-again then our blood becomes royal. It is no longer about our former lineage. All races are of equal and high status – that is when they cross the threshold. Meghan crossed the line and became a princess. Jesus isn’t a wordly prince charming, but He is the Prince who comes riding on a white horse who sweeps us off our feet (Rev 19:11). Like in the Song of Solomon 8:14( GNT) when the Shepherd says: Come to me, my lover, like a gazelle, like a young stag on the mountains where spices grow.
