Dancing With the Angels

Dancing With the Angels

I hear her laughter and her glee
As she dances oh so free
On her face a delightful grin
Her feet feather light once again

I see her take her husbands hand
As they sway to the Heavenly band
They’re back together with bodies anew
As they dance to the Heavenly tune

She’s dancing with the angels
Unbounded from her earthly vessel
She’s dancing with the angels
New wings added to her apparel

With a heart so full of love
She’s looking down from up above
Watching over her family left behind
Wishing them peace of mind

She sees how their hearts are torn
But tells them not to mourn
They’ll be together again someday
Listen closely and you hear her say

I’m dancing with the angels
Unbounded from my earthly vessel
I’m dancing with the angels
New wings added to my apparel

Death is sad for those who are left behind but Heaven must be wonderful. Sometimes we become afraid because we can't see it and must depend on our faith. That's what faith is for. Great article for those who have suffered a loss of their loved ones.

Your poem stirs my desire to see/be home... as we know that we are just visitors here. I have seen that dance, heard that music, and felt that joy, and I long to live it every single day. What a beautiful word of peace and assurance the Lord has given you for those who have lost a loved one. May their hearts rest in the knowledge of His goodness.
