Does God Really Care?

“In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.”  (Ephesians 1:11 / NIV)

Our world is filled with stress and pain.  Chronic physical pain is debilitating.  Emotional and mental trauma can be paralyzing.  Anxiety may overwhelm us with fear of the known as well as the unknown.  If you’ve questioned whether Jesus sees or feels your pain, rest assured that He does.  Not only does He see you, but He’s at work in every detail of your life.  Some of that work may not be fully revealed to us until we’re in Heaven with Him.  But for now, we can trust Him.

Before time began, God knew you.  He made plans and designed a purpose especially for you.  You’re a unique design of the Divine Creator.  He loves you so much that He died to save you from your sin.  If you’re hurting today and have never accepted Jesus’ provision of salvation, open your heart to him.  “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9 / KJV)  “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13 / KJV)  Even as a Christian, we sometimes need a reminder that our Savior loves us dearly and desires to complete His purpose in us.

Lord, help us glorify You by fulfilling Your purpose for us.  Amen.
