Bro Dan was busy and committed in his fellowship. Fellowship days were indeed boring without him. One morning, he woke up, to find out he was not on his bed where he slept yester night and the place he found himself was strange to his recognitions. He heard wonderful songs and bright shining light. He quickly thought of heaven’ Eh, “ Heaven “ he exclaimed then he matched confidently forward as he summed together his good deeds.
As he raced anxiously forward, he saw at the side, a gate well fortified, golden but closed. Before him was a young man; he was quite and rarely known in the fellowship but because of
Dan’s position in his fellowship, he knew him while on earth. This young man approached the gate and the gate opened and the young man “ called innocent went in with ease, Bro Dan confidence then consolidate, “if he can then I can” he thought in his mind. As he flipped through noticeable and popular exploits in his memory.

Surprisingly, he got there and the gate did not give him a notice, he peeped and checked well, if the gate can be controlled from out side but there was no such device. Sweat of disappointment soaked him and furiously he shook the gate with an angry zeal. “It is me “it is me”, Bro. Daniel john. The president and founder of “faithful, glorious saints assembly” I do not deserve this; I am the pastor of the brother “ Innocent” you permitted just now. I do not deserve to be locked out (I guess the wealth of scriptural knowledge Brother Daniel John had hunted him- he understood the message of such ignoring!)”
He continued “I was named Daniel John because my parent knew I was going to be a minister of God. Even in my teen years, they usually call me “ small pastor” AS I can recite many Bible verses, it was glaring I was meant for you. I lead my fellowship in the high school. I was the president of campus fellowship three times consecutively. And during my tenure we had series of evangelistic outreaches. We printed tracts and I sacrificially gave time and money to this. In the campus, I was invited to preach in other campuses- I do not deserve to be kept outside of your heaven “God!”
“About 20years ago, I felt led to commence this my church, and it has expanded, we built cathedrals, that occupy thousands, we have several dollars in our account. We have so many committees and presently we have vision for missionary work and we are supporting many missionaries in many countries of the world. Our goal is to reach out to the whole world.
Mighty miracles and manifestation of your power and Spirit we witness in our midst.
We are doing much for you; we know all this while you‘ve been our support because we did all in your name.”

For the first time he received a reply “ you did all for yourself and you have your reward already there is no place for you here
Bro Daniel john was very astonished at this reply. He could have change the mind of God by his argument and Spiritual Curriculum Vitae of his exploit, but God is not a partial Judge!

This unbelievable reply shall be waiting for some set of people. There are men, notable Christian that shall experience this because of the motives that propel their works and ministries - Jesus Christ the son of God threw light to this in Matthew 25:32 ‘there fore by their fruits you will know them not everyone who says to me “Lord, Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven but he who does the will of my father in heaven”.



Many will say to me in that day, Lord Lord, have we not prophesied in your name, cast out demon in your name and done many wonders in your name? And then I will declare to them “ I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness” (old king James - “ worker of iniquities”.) This surprising Reply will definitely be to many lawless and singing professed Christian

You can preach thousands of messages about Christ, and still be ignorant of Him or you are missing in the list of His saints. You may sing many songs about him and be missing among the sheep. You may occupy positions and they call you many of the common names and titles in the Christiandom today. Once you, partakes in any form of sin, you are labouring where you will not have reward. No man will win an argument in heaven. Your dwelling or eternal abode is a function of what life you live while on the surface of the earth.
There shall be a separation between Hypocrisy and Righteousness. “ When the son of man comes in His Glory, and all the holy angels with him, then He will sit in the throne of His glory. All the nations will be Gathered before Him and will; separate them one from another as a shepherd divided his sheep from the goats and He will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left! Mat25; 31-38 there shall be a separation between Righteousness and Hypocrisy.
God accepted Abel’s sacrifice, the younger and neglected Cain’s the elder. The Lord worked with Enoch in the midst of terrible nations and generation. God accepted the Righteousness of Noah, while his grandfather Methuselah, who had the longest years, was still alive. There shall be a separation between many fruitless fig trees and the fruitful one. To some Christian, it will be “ come in, you blessed of my father” and to the other Depart, you worker of iniquities.

There shall be surprises to those generation of ever busy believers, who are cumbered with so many activities like Martha in Lk10: 38-41-religious activities and pleasing of the Lord does not take the same course. Martha was busy preparing food for Christ. She came Reporting Mary who sat at the Lord’s feet learning. She expected the Lord to commend her and rebuke Mary but, what a surprising reply “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things but one is needed and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her”
What do you think? Martha must have been very surprised and disappointed at the Lord ‘s reply. All God was telling her is I need no religious activities, it doesn’t matter if you are sweating suppose because of me, you do not deserve any praise Martha, you are doing the wrong thing and Mary is right!

Both on earth and in heaven, there shall be many unbelievable replies to many activities we think we are doing because and for God. But only one thing is needful and that is, God is looking for men and women who can be His living sanctuary and dwelling place. He needs you before your tithes and services. Every activity out of this one thing will be accredited with disappointment.
God needs the ministers’ life first before the ministry. Worship without the obedience to the word of God will be rejected the same way Cain’s sacrifice was rejected. You may have the theological knowledge that make you stand tall in the midst of the children of God, if you lack the heart of God you will be rejected the same way Eliab was rejected despite his physical status. Only one thing is needful! Get the heart of God. Give him your life and heart and your heaven and reward shall be secured. Don’t labour religiously in vain- your life first. In Matthew 6.33- but seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you!
