Heavenly Father,

I thank that your great love,

Which is too amazing to understand,

Was made known to us in Jesus,

Your precious and beloved Son,

Whom you gave for us,

So that through his death and resurrection,

We could know you personally and become your children,

And I thank you that your love is unending,

And that regardless of what we do or how we feel,

Your love for us will remain the same,

So as I head out into this new day Father,

Help me to be an extension of your love to the world,

Wherever I go today,

I pray that you would give me opportunities to interact with others around me,

Please give me opportunities to meet new people,

Or to come across people I wouldn’t normally talk to,

And give me the wisdom to share your love with everyone I meet,

Whether it’s taking the time to have a real conversation with someone,

Or caring for those who are rarely noticed by others,

Or even something as simple as buying someone a cup of coffee,

Or asking someone how their day is going,

And Father, when I come across people who are difficult to love,

When I come across people who hate me or who drive me up the wall,

Please fill my heart with compassion for them,

And give me the strength to surrender any bitterness or hatred in my heart to you,

So that you can fill my heart with love for them too,

And Father, as I continue to share your love this day,

I pray that more and more people would come to know,

Your great love for them in Jesus,

And come to know you too as their heavenly Father.
